JOS UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL RECEIVED AN AWESOME DONATION FROM DR. ANGASHANG ISHAYA LUCKY.

Dr. Angashang Ishaku Lucky, a distinguished medical professional from the Department of Anesthesia, has made a generous donation to the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH). Dr. Lucky, who recently relocated to the United Kingdom for further studies, donated 15 pieces of laryngoscopes and 10 pieces of Magill forceps to support anesthesia services at the hospital.
The donation that took place on the 14th of March, 2025, at the office of the CMD was warmly received by the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of JUTH, Dr. Pokop Bupwatda, through Prof. Isamade E.S and Dr. Ngeh Mangai, both from the Department of Anesthesia.
Expressing appreciation for the gesture, Dr. Pokop Wupwatda (CMD) highlighted the importance of the equipment in improving patient care, particularly in airway management and surgical procedures. The hospital management commended Dr. Lucky for his dedication to advancing healthcare in Nigeria, even while pursuing further education abroad.
This act of generosity is expected to enhance the quality of anesthesia services at JUTH, benefiting both medical professionals and patients alike.
