CEO of Medserve Visits JUTH for Inspection of Proposed Cancer Treatment Facility

The Chief Executive Officer of Medserve Dr. Tolulope Adewole together with The Chief Medical Director of Jos University Teaching Hospital, Dr. Pokop W. Bupwatda led an inspection visit to the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) to assess progress on the Medserve Diagnostic Centre project, a proposed cancer treatment facility aimed at improving oncology care in the region.
The project, sponsored by the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), is expected to provide world-class diagnostic and treatment services for cancer patients. Representatives from Construction Kaiser Ltd, the firm handling the construction, were also present during the visit to discuss the project’s timeline and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Speaking during the inspection, the Medserve CEO emphasized the importance of the facility in addressing Nigeria’s growing cancer burden and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge medical infrastructure.
Dr. Pokop also emphasized his appreciation to the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and also expressed his appreciation to Medserve for the efforts in making sure that a world standard cancer treatment centre is established, that will aid in treating cancer patients around this region of the country.
The Medserve Diagnostic Centre is set to become a key healthcare milestone in Jos, enhancing access to advanced cancer diagnosis and treatment.
