The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the reappointment of the Chief Medical Director of the Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH, Dr. Pokop Wushipba Bupwatda for the Second and Final Tenure.
The reappointment takes effect from the 30th August, 2026.
The Management, Staff, and Patients of JUTH heartily Congratulate the CMD on this renewed Mandate and express appreciation to Mr. President for the confidence reposed on the Leadership of the Hospital.
The CMD in his remarks, thanked President Tinubu for the trust and pleased to consolidate on the gains recorded in the first tenure, while improving service delivery, infrastructure, and Staff welfare in line with the renewed hope Agenda for the health sector.
