CENTER FOR ETHICS AND SELF VALUE ORIENTATION HOLDS A 2-DAY SEMINAR ON WORK ETHICS AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE FOR JUTH SENIOR STAFF

The centre for Ethics and self Value Orientation has concluded a two-day seminar on work ethics and emotional intelligence in the Workplace for Heads of Departments and Senior Staff of the Hospital, JUTH.
The training, which held at the hospital, was designed to strengthen professionalism, integrity, and interpersonal skills amongst the hospital’s Management team.
Speaking at the opening, facilitators from the Centre said the seminar was aimed at equipping healthcare leaders with the tools to manage emotions, resolve conflict, and uphold ethical standards in service delivery.
Participants were taken through sessions on accountability, effective communication, empathy, self-awareness, and building high-performing teams in a healthcare setting.
One of the resources, in his remarks noted that emotional intelligence is critical in the health sector because “how we treat our colleagues and Patients determines the quality of care we give.”
The Heads of Departments and Senior Staff who attended described the seminar as timely and impactful, saying it would help improve workplace relationships and service delivery in JUTH.
The Centre for Ethics and self Value Orientation said it will continue to partner with Juth and other institutions to promote ethics, self Value, and leadership excellence across plateau state and the Nation at large.
