Health Information Management Department Receives Donation from Promoted Departmental Staff

In a commendable act of generosity, the recently promoted staff of the Health Information Management Department at Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) have donated high quality plastic chairs for use in the H.I.M department’s seminar hall. This initiative aims to improve the comfort and functionality of the seminar space, benefitting both staff and the hospital at large.
The Director of Administration, Mrs. Roseline Sani, in her opening remarks appreciated the efforts of the newly promoted staff for this thoughtful gesture of giving back to the hospital, saying it is the first of its kind and she appreciated the gesture while hoping that other departments emulates this act of service to the hospital.
The D.C,MAC Education and Training, Dr. Anna B. Gyang, representing the Chief Medical Director, expressed her heartfelt appreciation and commended the staff for their thoughtful contribution. She highlighted the importance of such gestures in fostering a collaborative and supportive environment within the hospital community and she also admonished the staff of the department to work with empathy for the patients by treating them kindly as they also can be patients someday.
“The donation of these chairs not only enhances our facilities but also reflects the strong sense of commitments and dedication among our staff,” Dr. Gyang stated during the handover ceremony.
The new chairs will significantly improve the sitting arrangements in the seminar hall, facilitating better learning and discussion experiences for everyone involved. The gesture has been warmly received by the department, underscoring the promoted members of staff, ongoing dedication to the institution’s growth and success.
This act of giving is a testament to the promoted staff dedication and the positive impact they strive to make within JUTH, setting an inspiring example for others to follow.
