In an effort to enhance the collaboration between the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), the NYSC 41st State Coordinator Mr. Yavala Jonathan Iliya paid a courtesy visit to the hospital’s management team.

In a significant act of generosity, Dr. Okah, a renowned consultant currently based in the UK, has made a substantial donation to the Jos University Teaching Hospital’s Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Unit. Dr. Okah, who trained and is still training many of the hospital’s surgeons before relocating to the UK, continues to support his former institution with both expertise and resources.

Nr. Williams Nyam, a former nurse of the Accident and Emergency (A&E) Unit at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), has donated essential medical supplies from the UK to support the department.

The Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) successfully concluded its annual retreat for 2024, held from November 17th to 20th at the serene Miango Rest Home, Bassa LGA, Plateau State. The event brought together the hospital’s management team, heads of departments, and expert facilitators in a collaborative effort to chart the institution’s path forward.

The chief medical director juth in his remark resounded the great benevelence of Chief kefas Wungak of the Kefiano Global Foundation who has shown great care for humanity through his philanthropic acts, one of the largest of them, being the renovation of accident and emergency unit of the Jos University Teaching Hospital, Juth.

The Department of Medical Social Work hosted a comprehensive training workshop and update course for her staff and other participants, with Associate Professor Dikop Gimba as the resource person, on the topic “Social Support, Advocacy, and Community Development; Medical Social Work Perspective.”
