With conscious efforts towards increasing and providing quality healthcare services to the public, the Jos University Teaching Hospital held it’s second, quarterly Ground-Round presentation which had the concerned staff of various departments coming together to achieve the Hospital’s set core values which is hoped to be achieved during the Ground-Round presentation.
The opening remarks were made by Dr. Anna Gyang, where she welcomed the head of departments present and other staff present. She encouraged everyone to be open-minded as the Ground-Round presentation exercise is targeted at increasing service delivery across various departments in the hospital.
The aim of the grand round was to review a multidisciplinary approach to the management of patients, improve inter departmental collaboration, and discuss the challenges encountered in patient care. Some of the concerned departments that presented during the Ground-Round were Health Records Department, Surgery Department, Anaesthesia Department, Nursing services, Pharmacy Department, amongst other departments present.
The Chairman Medical Advisory Committee, Dr. Njem Josiah Miner appreciated everyone present and encouraged the staff present to always try and indulge in exercises like these as it is totally the betterment of the hospital.
