HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT UNVEILS LEGACY PROJECTS, RECIEVES 17 CHAIRS FROM RECENTLY PROMOTED STAFF

The Health Information Management (HIM) Department of Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) has unveiled a number of legacy projects and received a donation of seventeen (17) plastic chairs from staff recently promoted in the department, Set 2026.
The legacy projects include a branded pulpit, Public Address (PA) system, a legacy clock bearing the names of HIM Department staff from 2021–2025, an AHRI​MPN JUTH Branch welcome backdrop, and enlarged photographs recognising the Head of Department, former Chairman, AHRI​MPN Executive Council members, and the department’s full-frame staff.
As part of the activities, an engagement tour was done and presentation of the legacy clock to the HIM Department, Seminar Hall, APIN and Federal Staff Clinic units, as well as CHC Gindiri and Zamko Out Stations.
Meanwhile, the seventeen plastic chairs were donated by the recently promoted Set 2026 staff as a gesture of appreciation and commitment to the department.
In her remarks, the Head of Department, Mrs. Salamatu Bako, expressed gratitude to the management of JUTH for the recent promotions. She reaffirmed the department’s loyalty and confidence in the leadership, while pledging the continued dedication of the promoted staff to effective service delivery in their new capacities.
The initiatives reflect the department’s commitment to preserving its history, strengthening its work environment, and leaving a lasting legacy for future generations of staff.
