AFIZERE CULTURAL AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO JUTH CMD

The Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) today played host to the National Leadership of the Afizere Cultural and Community Development Association (ACDA), who paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Dr. Pokop Bupwatda, and the hospital’s management team.
The delegation was led by Mr. Iliya Azi, who commended the CMD and his team for the numerous developmental strides and quality healthcare services being rendered by the hospital. He particularly appreciated the ongoing projects under the CMD’s leadership, which he described as impactful and people-centered.
In his remarks, Mr. Iliya appealed to the management of the hospital to continue promoting inclusiveness and to give the Afizere people a greater sense of belonging within the institution. He emphasized the importance of representation and collaboration for community development.
In his response, (CMC) Dr. Pokop Bupwatda warmly welcomed the ACDA delegation and thanked them for their show of support. He acknowledged the role of cultural and community-based organizations in societal progress and encouraged the association with words of wisdom, highlighting the value of unity, mutual respect, and constructive engagement.
“We all have a role to play in building institutions and communities. JUTH remains open to working with all groups for the betterment of society,” the CMD stated.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to fostering stronger relationships for the good of the people.
