The newly elected Executive Committee of the Association of Hospital and Administrative Pharmacists of Nigeria (AHPAPN), Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) Branch, was officially inaugurated during a swearing-in ceremony held at the hospital.
The oath of office was administered by Barrister Miriam of the JUTH Legal Department, who formally inducted the newly elected officers into office. Following the oath-taking ceremony, certificates were presented to the new executive members.
The newly inaugurated executives are:
– Pharm. Dangyang Pam Bwede – Chairman
– Pharm. Dakun Katlong Jonah – Vice Chairman
– Pharm. Kwene Panting Simon – Secretary
– Pharm. Daniel Joy Nkanjo – Treasurer
– Pharm. Bot Kyenplang Dajwal – Welfare Secretary
– Pharm. Dyokos Panret Geoffrey – Assistant Secretary
– Pharm. Mancha Victor – Financial Secretary
– Pharm. Edward Hannatu Iliya – Public Relations Officer (PRO)
Representing the Chairman of the , Pharm. Emeka Ohiorah congratulated the newly elected executives on their emergence. He urged them to build on the achievements of the immediate past executive and continue working together as a united association to accomplish its objectives and advance the welfare of its members.
In his acceptance speech, the newly inaugurated Chairman, Pharm. Dangyang Pam Bwede, expressed gratitude to the management of Jos University Teaching Hospital for its support and commitment to ensuring the smooth running of the hospital. He particularly commended the successes recorded through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiative.
The chairman appealed for improvements in the operations of the JUTH pharmacy store to complement the PPP initiative. He also called for the recruitment of more pharmacists and pharmacist interns to strengthen pharmaceutical services and enhance patient care within the hospital.
Pharm. Bwede further stated that the new executive would seek closer collaboration with sister unions and professional associations in the hospital to promote greater synergy among staff. He assured members that the executive would continue to prioritize their welfare while fostering cordial working relationships across the institution.
He concluded by appreciating everyone who attended the inauguration ceremony and appealed for the continued support and cooperation of members and the hospital management to enable the new executive to succeed.
