2025 NATIONAL NURSES MANAGERS SEMINARS/WORKSHOPS KICKS OFF AT JUTH

The 2025 National Nurses Managers Seminar/Workshop commenced today at Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) with the theme “Enhancing Nurses’ Productivity in Nigerian Health Institutions.”
The event began with an opening ceremony attended by top hospital management, nursing administrators, and key stakeholders. The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of JUTH, Dr. Pokop W. Bupwatda, was represented by the Chief Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC), Dr. Njem Josiah Miner, alongside other members of the hospital’s top management team.
Dr. Njem Josiah Miner, standing in for the CMD, declared the workshop open and delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the need for improved efficiency, leadership, and innovation in nursing practice.
The three-day event will feature Interactive training sessions on leadership, digital healthcare tools, and stress management.
Panel discussions on workforce optimization and policy reforms. Case study reviews on improving nursing productivity in resource-limited settings and strategy development to enhance nursing productivity in Nigeria’s healthcare system.
