JUTH HOLDS 2024 RETREAT FOR 2025-2029 STRATEGIC PLAN DEVELOPMENT

The Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) successfully concluded its annual retreat for 2024, held from November 17th to 20th at the serene Miango Rest Home, Bassa LGA, Plateau State. The event brought together the hospital’s management team, heads of departments, and expert facilitators in a collaborative effort to chart the institution’s path forward.
The retreat, described as both productive and results-oriented, focused on reviewing JUTH’s existing strategic plan and aligning departmental visions with the overarching goals of the hospital. Dr. Haggia Gutap, a lead consultant at the event, emphasized that every department is now synchronized with the institution’s mission, a critical step toward achieving sustainable growth and excellence in healthcare delivery.
Key discussions centered on the development of JUTH’s Fourth Strategic Plan, which will guide the hospital from 2025 to 2029. This comprehensive plan aims to enhance the institution’s capacity to provide quality healthcare, foster innovation, and ensure patient satisfaction.
Participants at the retreat commended the management’s commitment to a structured planning process, noting that the collaborative approach will undoubtedly strengthen JUTH’s position as a leading healthcare institution in Nigeria.
